As part of the Supply Chain Planning team, the main responsibility of the Supply Planner is to support the supply chain process and to secure the product availability:
You ensure that appropriate supplies and stock levels are maintained to meet customer service levels, both within cost restrains and consistent with suppliers’ lead time.
You build relationships with different departments in order to assure the availability of the finished products for distribution towards the customers.
You collaborate with the Customer Service department regarding customer needs and supply availability. You anticipate business questions and opportunities, and proactively analyze and propose solutions or improvements.
Furthermore you identify, analyse and report potential supply & inventory issues and react properly.
You are a key contributor in the total Sales & Operations Planning process and you help the senior supply planner in preparation of the supply review meeting and follow-up actions.
You provide the necessary support in preparation and testing of special projects related to continuous improvement.
You have a Bachelor degree or a Master degree in Logistics - Warehousing - Inventory Management.
Previous experience in Supply Chain Management, in planning systems or in logistics activities are true assets.
You are familiar with Microsoft Office in general and have a good working level of Excel in specific.
Ideally you have experience with working in SAP and other software programs.
You have analytical skills, you are flexible and you are stress tolerant.
You are a team player who can work independently according the job context.
You are a good communicator in written and spoken English. Other languages are an asset.
You can convince and influence different stakeholders.
