We are looking for a motivated person with experience in cleanroom environment to contribute in the microfabrication of devices such as ultrasound transducers, and microfluidics.
Tasks:
- Execute processing steps under the supervision of the responsible project leader or scientist.
- Deposition of thin films from solution and vacuum, using in particular tools like spin-coating, chemical vapor deposition and atomic-layer deposition.
- Photolithographic patterning of the deposited layers.
- Wet and dry etching of thin-film materials.
- Physical characterization of the deposited layers and realized devices (microscopy, profilometry, etc.).
You have a bachelor’s degree with experience or a master degree in chemistry, nano-technology or equivalent.
You like working within a team and can schedule your work according to deadlines and deliverables.
You have experience working in a cleanroom environment.
You are able to document and report your results in a clear and concise manner.
You can fluently communicate in English.
